BRIT AWARDS 2012 Pt 2

Anyone who has had any contact/follows me on twitter/reads this blog will definitely know what I was up to last Thursday night . Actually there will probably be very little you don't already know about that night, however, my excitement and general hysteria of being able to attend something so paramount, subsides my want to apologise for blocking up your Twitter feeds for the last 4 days + .

My official write up of the night cant be found here on the Company Magazine website , and exclusive backstage photos of the acts & the night including pics of me with Fearne Cotton( as the ones above are just low grade snapshots) can be scrolled through here.
Company are the Official Media Partner of the Brits 2011 , and so will be only place you can read all of the exclusive gossip ; including my reports !
A highlight of my trip to London was being able to write my report from Company's HQ - lets face it who hasn't wondered what it's really like inside a large Magazine's office. And truthfully ? It felt like home.

So finally to answer all of your emails, twitter/formspring questions -onto what I wore ....

After hours of deliberation resulting in me sitting on the bedroom floor , head in hands , pile of dresses on the bed, asking Ben just to tell me truthfully which one suited me more - he finally prevailed and selected this Republic dress for my Brits Launch debut. The one & only time I have ever taken fashion advice from a male sporting M&S checked PJ bottoms and a 'Back to the Future' t-shirt .
My breakdown & Ben's quick thinking paid off and I received compliments on the night from not one, but two members of boy band 'The Wanted' , various Magazine Editors & Fearne Cotton herself.
My other half, obviously has exemplary taste ....
Underneath the gold & black lace dress with back-zip detail and 70's bell sleeves, I covered up with a black bustier and shorts. Keeping it comfortable & contemporary with my trusty Topshop white patent boots .
With Vivienne Westwood designing the new Brits Award Statue this year ( which looks fab btw - I wonder if I could fashion something similar myself with some loo roll & sticky black plastic in the style of Blue Peter) , I added my other faithful friend - the Westwood Harlequin satchel .
For jewelery I just wore what I usually do - leather bracelets from Florence, Nomination charm bracelet , Disney Wonderland Key bangleThomas Sabo pearl bracelet and various rings from markets.

To read what happened on the night , who I saw & how it went, read my report - please leave any comments at the bottom of the article & then I can use them when writing my big report on the BRIT Awards in February !

A special Thankyou to Vic White , Theresa , Tracy (all from Company) , Louise Court (Cosmopolitan Ed ) & Dean Piper ( Showbiz Columist) for making my night even more special & memorable than i ever imagined.
