Diecast Manchester

Diecast Manchester - a new cultural space, beer garden, events venue, beer hall, bottomless brunch, karaoke, pizza & daiquiri foodie heaven .. and best of all for me ... a new place to try a Sunday Roast.

We were seated in a spacious booth where we could look over the full venue. A string quartet intermittently played popular music near the bar area, whilst every table was dimly lit with a small table lamp & devils ivy hung from the ceiling. It may have been 2pm in Manchester, but we could well have been anytime in New York City. The chilled music & lighting was a welcome ease into a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
We both went with the Roast Topside Lancashire beef with all of the trimmings followed by a Lemon Meringue baked Alaskan Pie and all plates were scraped clean.
My favourite thing about Diecast was the pace. Relaxing, welcoming and entertaining but never overpowering. A beautiful backdrop to a wonderful Sunday roast.
